The Colorado Tiny House Festival is returning for its fifth year on the sprawling grounds of the Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton on Sat., June 25, and Sun., June 26, 2022. EcoFlow presents the largest tiny house and alternative living event in the region in 2022. Guests will be able to step inside a large variety of small living structures, learn from tiny home builders and experts, meet DIYers and people living tiny full-time, and see the latest trends in tiny living.

For the first time, the festival will be preceded by a Tiny Home Town Hall on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon. The town hall is open to local legislatures to discuss the recent legalization of tiny home living in Colorado with the passage of HB22-1242. A panel featuring local industry leaders will talk about the next steps in tiny home living and provide legislatures an opportunity to tour a variety of small living structures. This event is closed to the public.

“We are excited to host the first tiny home event in Colorado since the state has taken the next step in legalizing the industry,” said Art Laubach, Colorado Tiny House Festival organizer. “As the cost of buying real estate in Colorado continues to sky-rocket, more people than ever are looking at tiny home living as a viable alternative living option and we are excited to see state legislatures work to make it easier to live tiny in Colorado.”

This tiny home show blends the spirit of the tiny living movement with the most up-to-date information on going tiny, simplifying your life, minimalistic living, and living greener. Unique small living structures will be spread throughout the festival grounds and include an assortment of professional builds, DIY builds, and Camping Corner which specifically showcases ways people can camp or “glamp” in style. Each structure features its own, one-of-a-kind floor plan, décor, and remarkable use of space. Additionally, attendees will enjoy live entertainment, expert speaker presentations, a product and service marketplace, a tiny taste of Colorado food truck court, and more.

Festival dates and hours are as follows:

Ticket prices range from $10 to $20 depending on when they are purchased and are good for both days of the event.

A home is typically considered “tiny” if it has less than 400 square feet of living space, although some of our showcased tiny homes are larger, and not all of them are on wheels. Regardless, all of the small spaces showcased at the event are in contrast to average American homes, which have grown larger over time despite shrinking family sizes. Tiny homes deliberately push the edge of low-space living and feature financial advantages, including low construction and land costs, low utilities, and upkeep.

Builders and DIYers continue to sign-up to showcase their unique small living structures during the 5th annual event. Professional builders participating, include: Azimuth Tiny Homes, Bean Trailer, Boulder Campervans, Einstyne Tiny Homes, Flippin Vans, Freedom Yurt Cabins. Habitats 4 Humans, Mountain West Tiny Homes, Nomadic Van Addict, Oasis Campervans, Renegade Vans, Sangre de Cristo Tiny Homes, SimBLISSity, Simplify Further, Trailer Made Custom Trailers, United Tiny House, Venturhaus, Veterans Community Project, Western Colorado Tiny House, Wheel of Life Vans, and Wilderwise. Builders and DIYers will be added to the website as they are confirmed.

EcoFlow, a portable power and renewable energy solutions company, is the presenting sponsor of the 2022 Colorado Tiny House Festival.
